Hi, we recently installed Sued Brown Granite in our kitchen and now are looking to replace our backsplash. We are unsure on the style and color of backsplash we should install and would like some advice. I have placed some pictures of the kitchen and flooring on Flickr:

cabinets are a medium dark wood not cherry has a soffitt over the cabinets and they look heavy.Would like to lighten up the room.What color back splash or type would you suggest.Floor is dark hardwood.also how to match up the color of the wilsonart HD laminate counter-top I want.The walls are painted beige.Thanks in advance.I want the kitchen light and airy

I’m planning on using penny round tiles (sold in 12" sheets at Home Depot) and figure that materials will cost about 100 bucks. Can anyone give me an idea of how much labor will be? I know that it’s hard to say exactly, I’m just trying to get a general idea. Thanks in advance.

I would like to find out what are the latest trends in kitchen backsplash. Can anyone help? When choosing a backsplash should it match with countertop? For example if I have cabinets that are honey color and dark green granite countertop, what would be my best options for backsplash? How is Bisazza ranked for kitchen backsplash? Please give me some websites with ideas and pictures if possible. Thanks in advance!

Kitchen remodel. Painting cabinets high gloss white, installing a shiny beige marble type tile for flooring, looking at a dark gray countertop. Also hoping to do 1 x 1 light blue glass mosiac tile backsplash and paint the walls a corresponding blue color. But not really sure if all of that clashes with the beige floor. Should I be going in a different direction? Also, the rest of the main floor is a deep gold tan with red accents and mahogany furniture. It’s pretty dark. Would the kitchen clash with the rest of the house? Opinions? The only thing that is definite is the white color of the cabinets and the beige tile floor, everything else is unpurchased. Thanks in advance!!

There’s so many different shades, I can never tell well enough to match. Right now my half bath is white, but I would like to paint that too. Should I paint both the kitchen and bath green? I have dark cherry kitchen cabinets with madura gold granite countertops. The combination of the two makes my kitchen very red. Is there a kitchen backsplash that would take attention away from the reddish color that I have. My style is traditional and I have a SW Believable Buff paint on the walls. Thanks in advance!

I am installing a backsplash in my kitchen, and I have chosen to insert accent tiles along with the regular tiles. The accent tiles are pretty pricey ( for a single 4×4 inch piece). I am wondering how many accent tiles would look appropriate for my kitchen
