Kitchen Backsplash Ideas: kitchen backsplash with travertine?
My installer did not seal my travertine before he grouted it about one week ago and he put a sealer on just the bottom grout around the sink area! Can I still seal my natural stone?

Yes you can and yes you should.. they should ve been sealed prior to installing but as long as it didn t stain the travertine he got lucky..
You generaly have to wait 3 days after grouting ( depending on the sealer) anyways. Put sealer in a spray bottle, mist the walls good and allow 10 minutes to soak in.. Wipe excess off and let dry.. Repeat in an hour or less..
Use a pentatrating sealer not a silicone sealer ( these you have to wait 30 days)
This can all be done as long as the grout haze is off the tiles..
